Out of the Box Consulting was established in February 2013 and is located on the Mornington Peninsula, Melbourne, Victoria. Our aim is to help small to medium businesses and not for profit organisations to achieve their marketing and communications goals, on time and within budget.
We provide a range of services and can work within tight budgets and time frames to meet the requirements of our clients. We have experience across a variety of industries including hospitality and tourism, automotive, electrical, building and real estate, health and fitness, government, finance and accounting, education and many others. |
Out of the Box Consulting is owned by Director Nicola Symons (Oldridge). Nicola has a Bachelor of Communications and a Bachelor of Tourism from Monash University. She also has Diploma in Business from Mt Eliza Business School, and a Certificate in Brand Management: Aligning Business, Brand and Behaviour from the University of London, and is a Fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute (FAMI).
Nicola began her career in 2001 working on International Projects for a State Government Department. In late 2002 she took up a role in Local Government initially in Public Relations, and later in Marketing and Communications. During this time, she developed her skills and knowledge in marketing, communication, business, government and management.
In 2015, after almost 12 years in Local Government, Nicola took a leap of faith and left to run her own marketing consultancy. She enjoys helping her clients to achieve their goals within their budget and timeframes.
Nicola currently works with not-for-profit organisations, disability and health services, and other small businesses. In addition, she supports her local community with continued involvement and support of Langwarrin Junior Football Club.
